Since the color and screen settings of monitors are all calibrated somewhat differently, some preparation needs to be done to precisely display the vision screening check and thus to obtain a precise result. Please read the following 4 steps and follow the guidelines. As soon you are done, we calculate the correct display settings for the vision screening check automatically.
If you already wear a vision aid (eyeglasses or contact lenses), you should wear them during the vision screening check. If you have more than one vision aid, please wear the vision aid you normally use when working on a computer.
1. Monitor screen calibration
Adjust the distance between the two lines by clicking the +/- button. The distance between them must be exactly 5.4 cm. To make the measurement you can use the short side of a credit card or debit card or a ruler.
2. Color calibration
Adjust the brightness of the striped frame to the central box by moving the slider.
3. Distance to display
Please place yourself at a distance of 70 - 100 cm from the display. You will get exact advice with every single check.
